It looks really cheap and unappetizing.

I mentioned that in another thread. It's that cheap gristly pressed ham product. That sandwich would be miles better with a high quality ham. They'd never skimp on the cheese so why use that awful ham?

I think Spam is a real dish, although mostly in Hawaii (and probably other Pacific locations). It has a 70+ year history as being a more or less staple.

Last time I had it, it wasn't bad. Kroger's had a big end display of it so it must still be selling well.

If I ever got something from a food truck with that type of ham product in it, I'd return it and ask for my money back.
