Who else is excited?

I'm looking forward to this film. It'll be just over a year since No Remorse was aired. This series is outstanding and really does Robert B. Parker's novels jusice. I really feel Selleck carry the torch after RBP passed away. As long as Selleck keeps making these movies, I'll watch them. And is there any better dynamic duo than Jesse and Reggie? No.

I am excited as well...

All of the films have been awesome and I am looking forward in watching this movie...

Oh, absolutely. Selleck is great and I expect we'll see more of the Stone series. Selleck has been involved, of course, in 'Blue Bloods' for CBS, but CBS and the creators of the show just parted way over creative differences. CBS wants a move away from 'Blue Bloods' character-driven scripts. Crazy! I can't see Selleck being happy with this either as he said when he took the project that the character-driven nature of the show was right up his alley. Now, CBS will ruin 'Blue Bloods' and that's too bad. But it also might mean more 'Jesse Stone' movies - ironically more character-driven than even 'Blue Bloods.' We'll see how it plays out.

In any Jesse Stone IMDB forum, a more apt question would be... "who ISN'T excited".

PUMPED. STONE POWER.

I am excited. Great to see a new Jesse Stone. There really isn't much quality television left out there. My hats off to Tom Seleck for his consistant offering of superb television drama.

Waiting for this for 2 years! Need more Jesse Stone films, at least 2 per season 3-4 would be better! :)

I was afraid that Tom wouldn't make anymore JS films since he's in a series now. I am SOOO glad he made another one!!!!

What we have here is failure to communicate!

I believe that I read that doing more Jesse Stone movies was Selleck's price, and one of his non-negotiable demands, for him to commit to doing Blue Bloods which CBS really wanted.

reply

Tom Selleck made NO REMORSE and INNOCENTS LOST back-to-back to save production costs...and both sat on the shelf while BLUE BLOODS was being negotiated. So in other words, INNOCENTS LOST was made before BLUE BLOODS and prior to the airing of NO REMORSE. CBS could have aired both of them in 2009!!!!

you'll all be happy to know another Jesse Stone movie goes to camera tomorrow (May 20).

The name is "Benefit of the Doubt."

Stephen McHattie and William Sadler were excellent choices by Tom Selleck.
Sadler was unforgettable in Don Johnson/Dennis Hopper film from a Texas town "Hot Spot"...............a must see.as all Jesse Stone flicks remain.
