Two problems with the movie
1) They killed off Kristoferson too soon and only had one flashback with him singing.
2) WTH? Jesse L. Martin has an incredible voice and he NEVER sang at all.
I have to agree with point one. It seemed odd to introduce a character in the first scene only to unceremoniously kill him off before the second.
As someone who has never even heard of Jesse L.Martin I can say that his singing wasn't missed by me, but I can see that watching him in a 'musical' if you were aware of him as a possessing an 'incredible voice' then it would suck.
It's not as funny when you know that part.
