Who Sings Better Queen or Dolly

Yes this movie has been done before blah blah blah.

I am not talking about acting or script etc only singing voice.

I love Dolly and I love Queen Latifa however.....

The Queen showed how much more of a voice she was to Dolly!

I would love to hear what others thought...Only one the quality of
their voices please.

Cheers

They have different styles, so it's hard for me to compare who is "better." Personally, I prefer Queen's style and sound.

I was going to say the same thing, dragonswak! I think queen has grown as a singer, ever since she did Chicago. Dolly has a nice voice, too, I just only know her as a country/western singer. I like the way she did "I will always love you".

I love Queen Latifah, but I'd have to say Dolly.

I will have to say that Queen Latifah has a more versatile sound, she still can't beat Dolly for her skill and raw vocal power. Right there at the end of the movie, Dolly is signing in the middle of the other two ladies and she was drowning them out. Queen did good on her solo parts, but when they all sang together you could hear Dolly over all of them.

Dolly is by far a better singer on every level

I think Dolly Parton has a much more unique and identifiable voice so I'd have to say her. Queen Latifah can sing and has a strong voice but when you listen to the soundtrack for this film you can't tell distinguish between her voice and the other woman in the choir.

It's not as funny when you know that part.

Dolly is getting up in years. You need to think back twenty years or so. Anyway, I was impressed by KeKe Palmer. The girl is having a career, and for good reason.
