This show reminds me of GET SMART

I grew up with that hilarious show from the 60's and this show parallels it.

Dudley Puppy is Maxwell Smart all over. He's a loud-mouthed bungler who always manages that last minute burst of resourcefulness and ingenuity to save the day. Only to make one last fumble to end the episode.

While Kitty Katswell is Agent 99 all over. Right down to the perky hairdo.

Of course.

The Chief is grouchy and sarcastic just like the one in GET SMART.
IMO, Maxwell Smart is not loud-mouthed and stupid. He's got a brain but has some glitches in it.

Keswick is modeled after the gadget guru, Carlson.

It also reminds me of 2 cartoons made during the Get Smart and the spying movie genre. One was from the former TerryToons studios (well known for Mighty Mouse, Heckle & Jeckle) named James Hound. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SkF9j36agmg
And another caroon, Cool McCool who was created by Bob Kane. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ait8WKjryGI and got a catchphrase "Danger is my business" who could be compered to the famous Get Smart catchphrase "Miss it by that much".

Butch Hartmen pitched the show as "Get Smart with a dog."

Ah, finally I have a good claw! 3 human females, a number, and a king giving himself brain surgery!

reply

Its "Get Smart" mixed with Rita & Runt("Animaniacs")
