Look at the poster : the name of the actress is mispelled !

Very weird ...

On the poster of the film, the name of Kelly Reilly is mispelled : Kelly Riley is written instead !

What a shame !

Wow.

It's spelled right in the full cast and crew list at the bottom, wonder if they caught the typo before they went to printing.

reply

I spotted that straight away, I was like, don't they mean Kelly Reilly? How embarrassing if this makes print.

I own the Jelena Jankovic board

that's pathetic.

reply

It's shameful and it happens more often than you would like to think. The film "Deadline" misspelled Tammy Blanchard's name on the DVD cover as well as the poster.

You obviously do, hypocrite.

Get a life, people!

reply

Please explain to me how paying attention to detail is not having a life? That's a pretty shallow view if you ask me..

reply

Most would say that is the definition of not having a life. Most of us are doing huge things, while you are exposing typos on the internet, collecting pennies on the road, keeping an eye on your neighbors grass, etc..

But seriously, we need people like you. Here is $10 for you to detail my cars. Thanks!

reply

I'm not at all surprised at the misspelled name. This entire film infuriated me because it was so sloppy and disrespectful of detail. It was also barely credible. Bad research and ignoring important detail were obvious to anyone (like me) who was familiar with this exciting era of crime in the streets of Toronto. It was a sensational time.

I think the credibility and DETAIL in this film would have been helped immensely if the director and his crew were Canadians and not Americans. I believe they would have had the sense and sensitivity not to cast Americans (former Canadians) in quintessentially Canadian roles. They made Edwin Alonzo Boyd into an ORDINARY guy, a little mixed-up and possibly even wronged guy. In real life, Boyd had the charisma, flamboyance and ruthlessness of a John Dillinger, and had far more substance than, say, a Clyde Barrow. But he was, alas, a Canadian, ergo unknown outside this country.
