The only reason why I am going to watch a few episodes of this show is because Genndy carried the 90s generation cartoons for Cartoon Network. He is incredible and knows exactly how to make nostalgic violence. I think if his name was out there other strays wandering around channel surfing will realize that this guy still exists out there.

I concur. The mid-late nineties marked a time when studios started to explore faster, cheaper ways of producing animation. Done wrong, the show would not only suck in terms of content but would also look lazy as well. Then came along Genndy whose vision and creativity legitimized this very hurried, flat appearance with Dexter's Lab and Powerpuff Girls. With Samurai Jack he practically raised it to an art form!

I had no clue this series was even going to be on. Then I caught a bumper on Adult Swim which basically said "kickbutt show coming on CN from Genndy Tartakovsky Sept. 17 8pm". That name was all I needed see to say "I'm in". My mother and I watched the pilot show and our reaction was electric.
Hmmmm... If the network won't deliver the advertising goods maybe we fans should do the ole' word of mouth. It can't hurt.

Some animation viewers don't really remember director names, but they do remember the animated series connected with a name. Difficult to explain XD oops
