I really enjoy how the Galaluna military uniforms are more akin to 18th or 19th century regimental wear than being futuristic in appearance. It's definitely a nod to anime as well. I wish I could think of a better example but Capt. Harlock is the only one that comes to mind. Harlock pilots a spaceship; yet he and some of his crew dress in classic pirate garb.
Edit: Thought of another example: Escaflowne. Some of the characters' clothing is anachronistic given the advanced level of technology that exists in that world. I guess we could say that these anachronisms are more on par with Science Fantasy than Science Fiction.
