I'll answer your questions with either facts or the most probable theories, in order.
1. Because he thinks more like a human now - Why, we don't know. This is more of a very loose answer than a theory.
2. Because it was probably taught to him by the G3 leader, who is probably Lance's father.
3. Nearly everyone thinks this is Lance's dad, Edward. Edward probably had some hand in designing Octus, so he would have known how to save him.
4. Sometime between the rift gate incident and now, he probably became the cyborg leader of G3. The rift gate probably teleported him to Earth severely injured. He rebuilt himself as a cyborg and started G3 (which seems to be independent from any government).
5. That's just his character. Army guys are often headstrong like him in fiction.
6. Because he got one in "Disenfranchised". Have you not seen that episode?
7. The finale pointed towards happiness for the couple. As for what would have happened when it was time to leave Earth, I don't know. What I do know is that Octus and Kimmy, the couple, is one of the most awesome things I have ever seen in a cartoon.
8. Depends on what you mean by "hook up". The prom episode indicated that they would start going out, which sucks because I wanted Jason to go out with Ilana for a little bit. He reminds me of a clumsier me. I laughed at this question.
9. They probably would have eventually. Right now all they seem to know is that the monsters are coming there because of Titan - It's weird that they haven't protested to get Titan the heck out of there.
10. Who knows how. They probably would have gotten the help of G3, but no one knows for sure except the writers of the show, if they had an ending in mind.
I hope that helped. Many of these questions will never actually be answered....Despite what those on Facebook may think, it seems pretty clear that the show's canceled.
