Distribution has been secured for Japan and North America. No release date yet.

Release date is March 12th 2013. Distributed through Cinema Epoch....Pre-orders can be purchased at BarnesandNoble.com, BestBuy.com, Amazon.com, etc....

Amazon shipped my dvd today. Looking forward to finally watching this. DVD seems to be barebones, no subs, no special features.

There should at least be deleted footage, but anything else was left up to the distributor. Closed captions were not finished in time for DVD release, but they will be included for the cable/broadcast release.

So if I had waited to watch it for free, I would have had subs. But, because I purchased the dvd, I don't. Interesting concept.

By cable/broadcast release I meant pay-per-view. We assumed the distributor would be handling closed captions for the DVD release, but it wasn't until after the master was sent to the manufacturer that they told us it was our responsibility. Nothing we could do about it, but sorry for the inconvenience.

Non-English subtitles were never planned, if that is what you were wanting.
