I love Jennifer Love Hewitt, but those terrible false eyelashes she had on in this movie were VERY distracting to me. Love - if you feel you need false lashes, please get a smaller pair that fit better with your face. You're too beautiful too need the Joann Worley pair!
shareIndeed, her whole look in the movie was fake and hard. She looks 10 years older than she really is, with that orangey bronzer/tanner and all that dark eye makeup. In contrast, the young Caroline was fresh, simple, and lovely. Too bad.

The guy who played Lucas is actor Sean Faris and he was born in 1982 - so that makes him 28 or 29. A bit younger than her , but not too much I guess.
And you are right- she does always wear those lashes. She wears them in "real life" everyday. Audrey Hepern is her idol and she used to wear those lashes too. I've noticed other actresses wearing those lately also. I read somewhere that the actresses are getting them attached to their own lashes like they do for hair weaves.
Those eyelashes are soooo annoying! Her bangs are always caught on them.

shareI'm glad you noticed them, too, because they really bothered me, and I hated to be the only one complaining about a minor thing in such a terrific movie. Betty White--what an actress! I hope she gets every award there is.

shareI agree that both sets of false lashes were distracting. I couldn't find my remote and I was watching the movie on super zoom, so it was oddly obvious.

I noticed them towards the end but they didn't really distract me. I love the long, thick lashes.

JLH has the worst stylist on all shows and movies she is in. Her clothes always make her look like she is hiding something. The eyelashes were horrible but I found her big hair more distracting. She has such a small frame and slender face that the big hair looks weird. It also makes her look older.
