The Last Days on Mars Vs. Europa Report
I liked Europa Report. I haven't even seen TLDoM yet, so I can't trash it but once again, two movies similar in plot come out at the same time. Anyone one to explain that one to me?
So life-like...

Not very similar actually. TLDoM is vastly inferior, I recommend that you skip it.
shareWill do. Thanks knight. Now on to The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman which I have a feeling might actually be pretty good...
ANYWAYS! I still want to know how and why, when a certain movie is released, someone always has to release a similar movie at the same time. S'weird.

Dexter
"Charlie Countryman," good stuff.
"TLDoM is vastly inferior"
Seriously?
The last days on Mars was very entertaining.
How can you not love martian zombies?
I found Europa Report mildly boring, and the documentary style really got on my nerves.
Stop interrupting the goddamn story every two minutes! Please!
We do not care of what the mission planner was thinking back on Earth! Like, at all!
Someone said the TLOD crew was more stupid than the ER one, but it's not true. They did alright.
Marko couldn't possibly have expected the ground to collapse, as they had been working there for months.
The others couldn't possibly have expected him to become a freaking zombie either.
While the TLOD crew did make a few stupid mistakes, the Europa Report crew was absolutely unchallenged for idiocy.
So the chick (can't remember her name, sorry) goes out on the surface, everyone is telling her to get the *beep* back because $radiation and she still decides to go out even farther?
And when she sees luminescence approaching her, she doesn't back up, but she actually goes even closer.
Are you frakking kidding me?
Then the others take off without the proper pre-flight checks, blow an engine, decide it could be a good idea to shut the engines IN MID FRAKKING FLIGHT, and crash down into the surface again!
Well-frakking-done, idiots!
Who trained these people, the Teletubbies?
It's also idiotic that on a mission of that magnitude they wouldn't have an emergency capsule, designed to just barely get them back into orbit and dock, should anything happen to the primary ship.

So after reading niko's blacked-out spoiler warning you immediately blab what the spoiler is?
Brilliant.
Tool.
Inferior but still worth watching if you like Sci. Fi. It is not that bad when you get right down to it. Don't skip it. It is superior to may other movies.
sharei watched both. I liked Europa Report better. Acting and everything was much better in Europa Report also.
After watching Europa Report and now recently, TLDOM, Europa report is far superior. Better acting, better script, Much more realism / mystery surrounding Jupiters moon than Mars
shareYeah Europa Report is far better. The effects and the story were superior. Acting is about the same, but with a terrible script for TLDoM, Europa beats it at a landslide.

Why the hell make a post abuot a movie u havent even bothered to watch, get a grip man
shareI don't think you know how to use the phrase "get a grip"... and ironically enough it is you who should get a grip. Ha, go figure.
And if you actually bothered to read his post you would have noticed he was asking a legitimate question. Moving along.
"It's so simple a six year old could figure it out."
"Quick! Someone get a six year old!"
Not similar at all. You might want to watch the movie first before you decide to comment on it.
shareIt is the internet man...... he can do whatever he wants.
