Y U KILL CUTE CHICK???

All my rage. The cutest woman in the movie is Yusra Warsama and she gets offed almost immediately.

Couldn't they at least have let her survive until halfway through?

Lame.

This seems to be a formula in slasher brand movies though.. Get at least two women, one as a main character and a cuter one who will die, because we all love watching people die. Right? And apparently people just don't really care unless at least one attractive person gets shuffled off the coil. After that your left with the moderately attractive person who seems to have a good rapport with the other main person.

The formula gets sort of old really.

Bleah.

Actually, i felt her character was bizarre. They wrote her character in just to make a company for Marko. I even thought about they mating each other and as a result, new homo-martian fetus developing far too quick and giving troubles to the crew (expected too much!) but her role was ridiculously short both in pre and post zombie state. She deserved more time in the script.

LOL she was the UGLIEST chick in the movie. Glad she died early.

The first part of your post reminds me of the stories I've read when Hitchcock killed Janet Leigh off at the beginning of Psycho. People were shocked, cause that kind of thing wasn't done in Hollywood, especially with 'big' movies.

Minorities in films usually die pretty quickly, I liked her character as well.

But she was badly written, and seemed too stupid and emotional to be a real astronaut. The short haired (lesbian?) aggressive one and the blonde feel- sorry - for were better to keep around in the story.

Actually stopped the movie and came here seeing if anyone else hated her annoying character as much as I do. Glad to hear she gets killed off quickly. And LOL @ her being the 'cute chick'.
