Why couldn't they

...have put some kind of cage around the propeller? I sort of assumed they had done that. it seemed like an obvious solution to prevent what happened.

Welcome to Costco, I love you...

obviously, they should have tried to take Luna back to her pod or whatever they call whales things. He clearly wanted to join up with his pod or craven or whatever a group of whales is called. I think a Pile.

But the goevernment had him in a pen and was one centimeter from putting him on a truck and bussing him ONLY 200 miles to his family!??????????????

yet the natives stopped it cuz they thought that Luna the whale was there grand father. and wanted nature to take it's course. fine/.
Well played!
as luna is so much ground tuna by that rotor.

A better ending would have been.

They truck Luna 200 miles on the road. He becomes distressed!!!
and nobody knows if he will make it>?>

The they push the beast into the sea.
A bunch of whales sniff at him.
Nobody knows if he will be accepted or eaten!
The tension builds as the killer whales poke at Luna!

The after several tension filled moments, The killer whale pod (that they know is his family via records) accepts little Luna into their family.

and he lives for 62 years!
instead of six.
like the muchalot wanted.

sigh! i wish they would have brought him back to his family.
But that's just me.

I thought they stopped it because they thought Luna would be sold to Sea World and spend the rest of his life in prison. The First Nations people felt this was abusive, so they stopped that abuse from happening.
