For the dumbed down masses. I'm not against masala entertainment when it's intelligent (e.g. 3 Idiots, Dhoom, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, heck even No Entry), but a film that's based on bad acting and such over the top cartoonish buffoonery is insulting.
Why must Bollywood insist on shoving such drivel down our throats?
These types of movies are for people who want to be entertained; people who want to sit back, relax and have fun for 2 hours.

What made you think that you are going to watch some thought-provoking and gripping cinema here? These movies are meant to be meaningless and stress-busting. shareseriously yaar i was aware that this is a aneez bazmi's movie and i expected a light hearted comedy which we can enjoy while sitting back and relaxing....but it was very bad for me...it was difficult for me to sit whole 150 minutes and watch those stupid jokes...the level of direction,screenplay all were below par leave aside a story line up because it is always non existent in bazmee's movie....it was one big disappointment for me....we can't convert a bad movie into good one by labelling it as sheer entertainment...but it is my personal opinion may be yours is different...peace :-)

shareI agree with you. I do enjoy masala entertaining movies, but this one was by no means entertaining or funny. The jokes were repetitive. The story as well was nothing new..how many times have we seen the hero trying to patch 2 broken families? It was neither entertaining..I was just waiting for the movie to finish and was utterly disappointed that such movies are still being made in bollywood. In fact movies like welcome, main hoon na, Hungama etc. were far more entertaining and paisa vasool for me.

The movie is not worth being Nr.2 top opener in India....but thats the truth, and its only cause of Salman Khan and his previous Dabangg.
Ready, has nothing new to offer, comedy is same same, and many times in the movie I could see Akshay Kumar doing this kind of role.
For me Anees Bazmi is a SH*T director, and made some of the most stupid movies. I cant stop thinking that Salman Khan is much better than making this kind of stupid movies...Stay Dabanng Style.
Anees Bazmee makes real un-funny s***. Ready is yet another addition to his illustrious list. I bet the people who love Anees Bazmi and Ready like stuff will evolve into an entirely different species - humans who have turds in their brains.

This movie is under average movie....but in my eyes its even worse.
The only reason this movie is doing good is cause of Salman Khan...there is a Big Hype nowadays with him, so whatever movie would have released with him would have done the same business.
BUT Boxoffice success has nothing to do with if people liked the movie, its only about people who watched it....Come on guys just look at how many good ratings this movie got, its below average...and all of Aness Bazmi movies is like that.
I am just surprised that this Director can go on and make "stupid" movies and people still watch it, at least watch it pirated instead of supporting this kind of JUNK MOVIES.

Ready was corny and had a illogical plot..some can say plot is compromised for the comedy but Ready has just one or two funny scenes....acting was avg,fans of salman will find his acting&comedy good,but for others salman is also avg..
Being a aneez basmi movie,the plot is made on the way..
The movie is a timepass,so leave your brain,heart and other useful organs at the door and then you can truly enjoy this movie....
Europe gave it only 1.5/5 stars
