Probably the best Greek Production in the history of Modern Greece.

This series is not only only a big budget, it is a huge enterprise artistically. It manages to combine excellent modern Direction with top notch photography and artistic Acting you can easily only find in Theatre. I heard it may be syndicated or made into a DVD with subtitles. It'd be excellent for the rest of the world to see what this Country can offer.

My sentiments exactly! This is a unique story with universal appeal and a series that deserves the highest rating. If it becomes available on DVD it would be a huge success all over the world!

I hope it comes out in the UK soon. I heard about it on a BBC documentary and can't wait to see it.

I'm glad it's not being given the Hollywood treatment like so many other dramatisations of popular books.

This is definitely the best Greek TV series ever made. It's a bit overly dramatic at times, but overall, it's a huge step up compared to any other fictional Greek TV series. I hope to see more of that caliber on the Greek TV.
