Yeah, it made no sense what so ever. They had no romantic past at all, nothing to build off of. It seemed like it was just a way to send off more of the "next generation" originals.

So stupid.

...so...stupid.

yeah it's like the writers ripped that idea out of some spemma fanfic

you couldn't resist could you?

I thought it was quite entertaining the whole thing and the whole situation but still huh? Shouldn't that have been Sean?

Only three connections, none of them romantic: first day of school at Degrassi Spinner stops Emma and Manny for their hall passes, Emma uses Spinner for her science fair experiment, and last Spinner talks to Emma about cheating on being a vegetarian at the Dot after Kelly breaks up with her.

Never saw a connection between the two and although getting married because they're drunk isn't unfathomable thinking they're right for each other and should stay married is.

Bad writing or lazy writing, to appeal to that segment of the audience that needs either a happy ending or closure.

Which is counter to the series since most of the episodes don't always have a resolution, a happy ending or closure, they usually end ambiguously, although when they do the movies they do try to have these happy endings, but I think the movies would be better servred if they kept the format of the series.

Movies will make you famous; Television will make you rich; But theatre will make you good.

They make zero sense as a couple.
