shameless copy of 'mississippi burning'

Was wondering about that while I was watching it tonight. But I didn't mind copying the way Priyadarshan has done, it's a great remake for Indian cinema. The roof-top chase sequence also did remind me of Casino Royale's opening sequence. Superbly done.

does this movie contain vulgar language, like madorchodh, benchodh, chutia, gandu, stuff like that, since the producer is the producer of omkara and it takes place in Bhihar

Scene by Scene, Dialogue by Dialogue has been copied from MB. Sets, locations, etc everything is copied. Even the background score has been copied at some places.

But, I liked watching Aakrosh.

when will you asssholes realise that nobody in India atleast not more than 1% will have ever seen Mississipi Burning let alone ever heard of it...so get lost with your "ripoff" posts.

Scene by scene copy yes , but atleast well copied.

I loved the original (MB) and liked this one too. Atleast we can copy well now.

But the copying was required to tell a very common and true story in Rural india.

I hate the copy cat movies but loved tis one.

When -I challenge you,has a western movie ever EVER had a bicycle chase in the jungle that left you filled with excitement even though the bikes are low tech ,they are armed with swords, and the defenders
have Mississippi's top weapon if I'm not mistaken.-or maybe I am.

It's an Indian movie about honor killings.
For those of you that aren't indian that's why there are no questions. Indians aren't very happy with the film. Look at the numbers. It's a great movie. It's a sore subject. Indians just want a movie with music.Westerners are missing the honor killing part.Isn't that when a muslim girl secretly dates a boy from Brooklyn and her older brother strangles her to maintain the family honor? Well sure. But there are only so many Italians left.
If you were wondering why key characters keep asking, "what's your name?" , in India ,you can tell what caste a person is from his name . Not in the states.A name means nothing. But a female does not marry down. Males shouldn't either but their names aren't changed after marriage.I've watched it twice.
I'm married to a Brahmin. He enjoyed it as well. But then,he like Slumdog too. I hated the name.
