I think Melissa needs to lighten up a little bit and Joan needs to back off a bit. It is sad because you can tell that they love each other very much. Melissa likes her privacy and is a lot more shy than Joan is and Joan should respect that but not everything is meant as an attack on Melissa.

I agree, it is sad to watch them. Joan is a mother, that is what mother's do. They criticize too much! Although I agree with Joan about the way the nanny dresses. She doesn't have to were a uniform but she could tone it down. I don't think her exposing her breast in front of Cooper was such a great idea. And Melissa is a push over, all those people living and sponging off her. Time for her to have everyone except the BF and her son get out of her house.
Joan has a point about the California "tone" and that lovey dovey hippy nonsense that the BF was taking about.
