did anyone notice

that when they went to visit the house they used to live in, melissa was carrying a piece of paper. when the owner of the house gave joan a piece of mail that arrived in edgar's name, the paper had the same logos on it that melissa was carrying?

sure, edgar is still getting mail at that address when he's been dead what 20 years?

I'm leaning towards staged also. But while I believe that a random telemarketing flyer could be generated in his name, I'd be curious to know when it was actually delivered. I know when we get mail for others, we don't hang on to it past a couple days if we can help it. Just mark it and send it back.

She carried the paper in some scenes and not in others - and not in order. Which makes me think that it was just the way they cut the film and it wasn't filmed in order. Like, she got the flyer first and then they viewed the house, etc.
The lady who lived there said she "saved" the piece of mail - maybe she did so because she knew Joan River's had lived there before. I might save it too!
Well, I know a lot of it is planned and staged, but I think a lot of the emotions and words are true - the show does manage to capture the relationship between Joan and Melissa even though parts are staged.
