It does make a difference.

We only know what Melissa and Joan are saying. If Jason never met anyone, then it could have been just fantasy. And from what Melissa said, she did not mind him looking at "porn" but she thought he went over the line because he created online involvements. I think he could have thought, because he did not have actually physical contact, that it didn't matter.

If his email of other interchanges were available to view, we could make a better assessment but as it stands now, there is no way to be sure.

Well the OP only asked if he was "looking for some action" or if he actually got some. I don't think it matters, because those are both unacceptable. Now if he was only looking at other women as you said, that would make a difference. Of course I'm speaking in terms of how I would feel not how I think she should and/or would.
