While I do think that this show is totally staged, and you may be right, that part may have been staged as well. I know that the mail thing is possible. My grandfather died in 1989 and we still get mail for him occasionally. Not regularly, but occasionally.

Sometimes I doubt your commitment to Sparkle Motion!

Bs about them saving the letter for years. When they got the letter if they had plans on getting it to Mel they woulda called their realtor/broker years ago. If the show never happened & mel never came, they woulda never given her her dead dad's postcard? oh please!

also more importantly, rewatch the ep. Mel had that postcard in her hand when they entered the house.

It was more fake bs.

yet this show got renewed for a 2nd season! Im not getting any insight about this relationship bc everything is fake. Is Joan hurting for $ so she agreed to this show? Her jewlry aint selling?

& what is Mel's job? What does she produce?

I missed the postcard in her hand! Will have to catch that on rerun.

I don't get the staging. As long as these two have been around and working together, I'd think the dynamics btwn them wouldn't need to be faked.

Burt: Smoke on that, jerk.

We still get mail for my aunt, and she died in 1992, FWIW. RIP Joan Rivers.

My Mother died in 1982 (32 years ago as of 2014) and we still receive mail on occasion that's addressed to her.
