Are we to think this really happened

You take ONE sleeping pill and not only do you night sleep but are up all night doing outrageous things you have no recollection of doing. The next morning after having hardly any sleep you are awake and refreshed. Then to top it all off Tony supposedly covers and changes everything about Queen Victoria's chair. All hog wash. Especially since the chair was changed COMPLETELY in a matter of a couple days. The wood was even changed and put on coasters. Not recognizable to even Joan.

I have a script for sleeping pills and have tried many different types until my doctor and I found the one that I felt worked the best. There's no way one pill would do that to her. Even if it was a higher dose. She should have passed out. If she was up all night doing crazy things once she did fall asleep she would have slept a bare minimum of eight hours or wouldn't have felt perfectly fine the next morning.

I know pills effect people in different ways, different side effects etc, but this is unbelievable. Very funny but I'm not buying it. Now had it been a very strong narcotic then yes I could possibly give it more merit. I just don't think it happened. They even brought Carmen Electra into it. Joan just so happens to text her when she just so happens to have an event to go to. Like she has NEVER been to any red carpet events before. She has no stylist or anyone but Joan to go to who has never helped her before. And calling the makeup man who treats her like crap when Joan has never been rude to him, to apologize to him. He was even rude when he was supposedly thanking her for that said apology.

Let's not even get into Melissa and the lacrosse coach or her stopping Joan from telling Tony (name?) about the chair. I think he would have known the history of the chair anyway. He said he'd been to that house many many times as he was suppose to pick out a memento. He'd have seen the chair before and Joan certainty would let anyone who stepped into that house know about that chair.

This episode was fake from start to finish. Every single second was scripted. Why don't they just admit it already. I'd respect them more for that then have them think we are all a big bunch of morons.

I agree with pretty much everything you said. This season is getting very scripty but none of the episodes have been as fake as this one.

I agree as well. It has gotten so scripted.

Joan saying, "Mom, take half. Sleeping meds effect everyone differently." Yet, she left the whole pill with her. So scripted.

Sleeping pills can make you act crazy... Ambien did not work well for me, but it was mind thing. It didn't have the energy to be up all night acting crazy.

Also, Joan is shown the "next morning" dressed and made up looking completely refreshed.

I honestly think pretending to give her a Xanax or Valium would have seemed more plausible.

Who records their skypes? Haha Plus, you could tell Joan was acting.
