I was looking forward to more than 7 episodes and now they're running them two to a night. There are nights aplenty of the Braxton sisters and the other shows but I haven't seen much of Joan's show past the scheduled night. I'm so glad I DVR'd the show, though.
Why did WETV rush this season so that it finishes so fast?
This season I laughed as much as I did the excellent first season.

shareI have a feeling whether things weren't well between the Rivers women and WEtv and that whether Joan passed or not, this was gonna be the last season anyways. The scripting was way over the top this year (as the final seasons of most reality shows are when they are just trying to get it over with and of the way), and in Joan's latest book she took a couple of digs at WEtv, in a humorous but very telling way.
I could be wrong, but my guess is that for some reason, somebody wanted the show over and the best way to do so was heavily script every episode (so they didn't have to film constantly only just to use little bits and pieces) and get it all out of the way.
