GIVE GRETCHEN A NOMINATION

Saw the film last night, 5:30 on the East Village, NYC. I was the only one in the theatre (which made the whole experience scarier). It is an excellent film. The sound design was top-notch. The whole cast & direction was good. This is an instance of "star-making" performance, like the first time you saw Naomi Watts turn on MULLHOLLAND DRIVE and you went "Who's that girl?" or "That girl is going to be big". The New York Times critic already wrote about her astonishing debut. Gretchen Lodge was amazing in this. Give her a nomination, any kind, even if it's a Fangoria nomination. She earned it.
