*Spoiler Question* - Why did she kill...

...the little girl? I understand the reasoning with the other two people. But what did the little girl represent?

reply

I guess it represented the "death" of Molly's innocence as a young girl.

You hear, but never see, about how her father abused her as a child; possibly why you also don't see the death of the little girl on screen.

reply

She was the daughter of the woman her husband was cheating on her with. It was her revenge on the other woman. To her, it was better than murdering the woman. It caused more grief.

reply

Did Molly also kill the little boy? I thought I saw his body through the trees.

House. My room. Can't walk. My medal. My father. Father, don't!

reply

She seemed particularly focussed on the little girl. I don't think she hurt the boy.

Don't let anyone ever make you feel like you don't deserve what you want.

reply

It was her 'father', or the malevolent spirit, or whatever possessed her that victimized little girls.

It seemed to be telling her to bury the girl in that one scene, leading her to the shovel.

Why?

'Cause that's how he rolls.

reply

I love your response to "Why?"

"'Cause that's how he rolls."

reply

The girl caught Molly video taping them (the neighbor is in the backyard with her children, the boy falls and starts crying, so she leave with him. The girl gets off the swing, turns around, and stares directly into the camera). There might be other reasons, but I'm guessing one of them is to silence the girl so she can't tell anybody about the creepy women video taping them from the woods.

Seriously, is it that freakin hard to reply to the right thread instead of any random one?
