How many more of these THE WORLD IS GOING TO END IN 2012!!!! movies are we going to have to put up with this year?

These fatcat studios, with their creditable directors and crowd & critic pleasing casts ought to know better...exploiting what is fast becoming/has fast become a giant meme, an unbearable, neurotic fear in our global consciousness. The stupid f66ks should know better.

All this fatalisitc apocalypse porn can do nothing for the human consciousness except make us more and more paranoid, more and more terrified, more and more dependent on our stupid f66kwit excuses for leaders. It can't make us open our eyes to the grim reality; that WE are in charge of our species destiny. If the environment truly is f66cked up (which I personally believe it is, though maybe not as much as some people make it seem) then WE have to take charge. WE, who created the problem, must unite to fix it.

I'm sick of all these sorts of movies. There are too many of them, and it's exploitative, damaging and ignorant, and all they encourage from audiences in response is more stupidity and ignorance. More cowering and self-pity. God, what a pathetic group of larvae we're becoming thanks to this excrement.
