Is this movie depressing?

I watched Melancholia, and boy that made both me and my Wife depressed for weeks. Will this 4:44 movie also make us depressed? Thanks.

Well it won't be released until June, so only people actually involved in the production would know.

Melancholia certainly was a downer. The title was a big clue...

It's about the death of every living thing on Earth. I wouldn't call it the feel good movie of the year.

not true, it came out today. i watched it and no its not depressing, its boring...very boring. before u judges my taste all ill say is look at its rating (4.5) and realize maybe i know what im talkin about haha. i really was looking forward to this movie too! ah well

You are depressed only by your fault. No need to see something to be depressed.
I am just curious. That's a difference. Maybe a good one maybe not.

Melancholia hit me really really hard also, but no this film had nowhere near the kind of impact Melancholia had.
Melancholia was pretty good, but this film delivered nothing to me in the end. It was crap

I just watched 4:44, it is not depressing. It shows characters who keep their spirits up and are not afraid even though they all know they are going to die.
Kind of like all of us in our every day lives... If anything, the characters in this movie express love more than they would were the world not about to end. It was very beautiful and seemed more realistic to me than if everyone were rioting and killing mindlessly, (which many people complain didn't happen in the film).
