so I'm playing New Vegas on the 360 and I was idolized by the NCR and I saved my game went on a rampage killing everyone in the Mojave Outpost then I got vilified by them anyway I reloaded my previous save and then my rep with them is completley gone. can someone please explain this? now I'm just neutral. and I really like the NCR and worked hard to be idolized and now it's all gone. :'(
shareAre you wearing a faction uniform, or were you when you went on your rampage? That changes your rep when you put it on.
shareI was wearing NCR power armor and it was in the mojave outpost but I saved before going on the rampage then when I reloaded my game I went from liked to I'm guessing nothing because the NCR don't even show up on my factions list and now the powder gngers and Legion don't hate me anymore so does your game save your faction standing no matter what? because I should still be Idolized with the save I loaded.

Again, it's because you're wearing the NCR armor. Take it off, then check your rep again. Any rep you gain/lose while wearing a faction uniform is independent from your character's rep.

well you know every one saves then goes on a rampage every once in a while except for some reason when I re-loaded I wasn't Idolized anymore
Honestly? I've never rampaged on a Bethesda game. I always try to be the good guy and end up protecting folks. Still sucks that your game messed up though.
