Am I the only one..

Am I the only one that actually LOVED this movie? Just curious.

reply

Very, very, VERY far from it.

reply

It's one of my favorite movies of all time.

Agreed

Agreed²

Not at all! I loved it, and would have loved to have seen what the original creative team would have done with the sequel. A sequel does appear to still be happening, of course, but the original director and writer won't be involved.

reply

Yeah, I agree, I would've liked to see them move the story forward in some way, and yeah the same director and writer would definitely be a big plus.

Agreed.

Great movie... Hoping for a sequel

reply

I liked it a lot, but also felt it could of been so much more.

reply

I love it!

I know i would have enjoyed it a ton more if the director hadnt gone for the idiotic Blair witch hand held camera BS. It doesnt even hold through out the movie. Sometimes things happen and no one is there to hold the camera. Great movie ruined for me by the crappy camera work.

Did you miss the fact that 3/4 of the film, Andrew is levitating the camera wherever he goes? Seriously, I was skeptical like you at first, ready to tear it apart if there was a "missing camera goof", but they covered all the bases if you pay close attention. Bear in mind the girl films a lot of it, some is filmed on security cameras (the hospital, gas station & pharmacy scenes) and at the end there were about 500 cellphones capturing the final action. A valid question might be: who collected & edited all this footage together, but that's not the point of a found-footage movie. In the end I have to say the filmmakers did a pretty awesome job here.

reply

The people who collected and edited the footage are the antagonists in Max Landis' script for chronicle 2. Unfortunately rejected by fox for being "too dark"

reply

There is literally not a single moment, where there's "no one to hold the camera". If you'd just consentrate on the *beep* movie. You were on instagram or 9gag or some other *beep* on your phone throughout the whole movie, weren't you?

reply

You are wrong on all counts. And a year too late to boot.

reply

I also loved it! Can't believe the low rating though. This is one of the best superhero movie.
