Who was the true main character of this story?

Initially, a lot of it was done through Andrew's eyes, but Matt is the one who ultimately changes the most and becomes the hero, while Andrew sinks into insanity and bloodlust. Andrew is the villain, and Matt is the one who tries to reason with him, then has no choice but to kill him.

There doesn't need to just be one lead character. There isn't just one main character in Pulp Fiction.

But this ain't Pulp Fiction.

Every person that served can be called a veteran, but not every veteran can be called a Marine.

I agree it doesnt have to have one main but to me its about Andrew. He is the most you feel for and the more who pulls you and grabs you. You cant help ignore his poor life and his destructive decisions. Matt might be the better person but I think this story is told under Andrew who from the beginning is depressed then goes up having helped by his powers then completely becomes a complete monster. Though he ultimately ends I think the story is more about him and his rise and downfall while the other ones are just supporting him and trying to help him. I think the fact that he dies gives the impression that its not about him but if he had lived it easily wouldve been seen as his story rather then Matt. So is it all about just him living or dying?

Why am I such a misfit? I am not just a nitwit.
