Watching on Netflix..editing problems?

I'm watching this, with subtitles on Netflix, and I find the sequences disjointed and rather hard to follow. I think it's a remarkable film, but
there seems to be much missing within the storyline. Great film, nonetheless.

I just watched it on Netflix too and I also found it hard to follow. But I don't think it's the editing, I think it's the screenwriting. Maybe Russian audiences can appreciate it more than we can.
