This movie achieves precisely what it set out to do.

This is vindication for every group of friends who love crass humor, good times and making movies. As fellow cheesy home movie makers, my friends and I had a blast watching this movie. Red Letter Media is a band of sacrilegious compatriots and they, along with their hilarious team of "actors," have published something to put on their shelf, and it's actually quite funny.

I doubt they set out to change cinema or get rich, they most likely thought "Hey, this would be fun." And it shows. This is a fun movie, and an inspiration to other home movie making groups of friends.

Good job, Red Letter Media. Everyone who can see past just what a movie is on the surface (even on the surface, it's quite humorous) and enjoy the spirit and attitude that went into it... buy this. You won't regret it, and it will help these guys continue doing what they're doing.

I would have bought an actual movie ticket to watch this, and I doubt I'm alone. You're on your way to the top.

@uke ike: hey uhh, just thought I'd respond here because I saw your long-winded review of this movie and could see that you were missing some information..

You claim to be into the 'indie scene' and I'm guessing you're referring to the indie horror scene because later on you mention some indie horror films which is fine and all, but you seem to have no knowledge of the basic, core, horror movies that this film (Feeding Frenzy) is lampooning! Evil Dead? remember that one? One of your big complaints was the overly drawn out scene with a zombie biting off someone's leg while one of the characters searched for a weapon. That's pretty much the exact scene from Evil Dead! I'm not even a horror movie fan (and I haven't even seen this movie (!) and I picked up on that just from you describing it). In Evil Dead, some zombie chews off a guy's arm for like 3 minutes while he's screaming bloody murder and Ash just stands there 4 feet away holding an axe in his hand. Ridiculous. Glad other people share my sense of humour.

As for the acting, now once again, I have not seen this film... but I'm guessing just by the trailer I saw and seeing some RedLetterMedia stuff that, that is kind of the point! Even in the trailer I saw of Feeding Frenzy, there are characters in the film making fun of Jesse Camp about how he's so forgettable and a nobody, which were your words from the review! See? It's humour!

Anyway, I'm not going to go much further here other than to say you seem to have a great deal of pent-up nerd anger and you should probably think about what you say more before you say it, lest you look like a raging idiot.

Finally, Ron Lipski's post here on the board (if it was really him) was probably meant in jest (he has no allusions to being some great actor). And the part in your review where you insult the woman's physical appearance was particularly special because I'm pretty sure she is the girlfriend of one of the RLM guys...

I actually enjoyed the movie, but I agree the acting was hilariously bad. HOWEVER the Red Letter Media fellows are top notch, cool guys. They never disappoint, and have provided me hours upon hours of entertainment, and entertained groups of my friends, as well. I will buy their next movie, and will continue doing so because I'm glad they're here making me laugh.

Yes, I was also genuinly entertaind by this movie. Not something I say that often regarding movies anymore.
But RLM do know how to put a smale on the viewers face.
