You know, I admire Jenny

I really wonder how it would feel to identify as a lesbian and have your partner go through a sex change. I don't think it must be a really big jolt. To me it explains a little bit of why she's a little more of a harsh person. She stuck by Chaz and now they're getting married and it's such a wonderful thing. I hope that Cher does support them because this world is such a tough and acidic place that true love is really needed. Thanks for sharing your story Chaz. I really admire your courage and tenacity to follow your heart.

As a lesbian, I don't think I could do it. I don't think I could stay with a woman who became a man. Yes, love is unconditional. But at the same time, I didn't sign up with to be with a man, and yes, that would be a deal breaker...., I think.

I only know one couple who has gone through this. My friend stayed with her partner all through the change. Stood by "his" side through it all. We're talking a couple of years at least. But when it was all said and done, she left. She wasn't comfortable sleeping with a man, dealing with a man and a man's ways. It simply wasn't what she signed up for.

And please, don't compare it with someone having a terminal illness. I would certainly stick with that through to the end. But the sex of the person would still be the same. That would not change.

Chaz has referred to Jenny as bisexual before. I don't know if she identified as bisexual before he started transitioning or if she only came to that conclusion afterwards.

Edit: I found an interview with Jenny where she says she's always identified as bisexual. So there you go. :)

I didn't care for her. I thought she was a complainer and not really supportive of Chaz. But to each his own.

"Joey, have you ever been in a Turkish prison?"

I thought pretty much the same of her.

Yeah, I found her to seem like she would be very high maintenance. I felt kind of sorry for Chaz. Jennifer did seem to put him down a lot, make off-hand remarks that came across as rude/insulting. Very selfish acting and almost seemed like she was only in the relationship because of who Chaz was and who his parents are.
