Graphics are bad I know...but ALIENS!?!

Iv looked through some threads and its all about the extremely poor/rubbish graphics and I hate them, and hope this film flops and it never gets used again! seriously though

ALIENS in Tarzan!

Is this a good idea? Is this really what kids these days want to see =/

Are there aliens in this? From the trailer it just looks like they were talking about an extraterrestrial meteor. I don't think they mean aliens, I think they just mean a space rock because extraterrestrial just means not of this Earth. It doesn't imply living, breathing aliens.

The trailer has really nice rendering and lighting. It's an animation for *beep* sake. Perhaps they are confusing animation skill with CGI rendering effort.
There are plenty of CGI animations that look far, far worse than this does.

THERE ARE NO ALIENS IN THIS FILM.... DONT CARE IF ITS A SPOILER THERE ARE NO FREAKING ALIENS ..... This film was amazing... if you have not watched it yet please give it a chance and don't let someone who didn't like it persuade you to not view it. Give it a chance and make your own opinion.

life ask death why do people love me and not you death says you are a beautiful lie I am a sad truth

reply

there are ALIENS and yes it is bad but not that bad not to be watched .

I wouldn't say the animation is bad...
It sure is different from the style we've been spoiled with for years (Pixar, Disney, etc)...
But I have seen many many much worse than this, so I have no problem with the animation...

Everything else is so miserable though...

Bonasera, bonasera... why so serious ?

There were no aliens but there were giant carnivorous plants that were not of this world. There was no call for them to be included in a film like this. They were more appropriate in movies like King Kong.

This movie was a lot of fun to watch with dazzling animation. The producers allowed a slackness in the facial expressions of the characters that sometimes made them look like they were wearing rubber face masks that could not articulated or controlled. After a wile, my eye accepted the facial expression slackness as the animation style of this particular movie.

Over all, I thought this German version of Tarzan was a joy to watch. My middle school age kids loved it and my wife liked it. After renting it, I think I would like to buy the DVD, but a Region 1 DVD does not appear to be available for purchase in the US. You can rent the DVD from Redbox and then not return it and then get charged for the full purchase price.
