When will they get serious with Tarzan?

Will we ever see a serious live-action version of Tarzan?
They can explore the dark side of the jungle and today's technology is perfectly capable of creating realistically threatening animals.

Enough of this ridiculous CG monsters and gorillas-are-my-friends bull$h!t.
One baboon can be scary and the jungle intruders armed with guns can give so much tension in a setting like this.
Think of the possibilities... A small Predator-esque sequence involving Tarzan and the baddies with guns will be enough to earn my bucks.
Not this stupid CG joke.

They are making a live action Tarzan. No saying how good it will be, but it's bound to be better than this.

They really need to make a loyal adaption of the first book, and maybe the 2nd and 3rd. Things started to get a bit weird after that tbh.

The day I see the scene from the first book where Tarzan is bitten on the head and his scalp is hanging in front of my eyes, my life will be complete.
