film tint


I get that this is an indie movie, and that it's supposed to be gritty. The overly green and yellow hues were not needed. They were distracting if anything. If a director wants to set up atmosphere, they should stop relying on film tint and lazy editing.

Yeah, it was awful. Not only that, but at one point the vignette mask could actually be seen as it turned the shadow areas a "red" color. I thought I was seeing things at first. Just a terrible movie.

I just saw the red "blacks" as I was reading your post. Hilarious! Terrible yellow color correction. The editor must have pissed all over his computer.
