Worst sound mixing ever

I started to watch this movie with my earbuds but I had to stop watching because of the terrible foley effects + sound mixing. If you don't believe me listen to the scene with earbuds/headphones where the main character rummages through the box of junk just before he finds the rifle, simply unbearably bad,

You know one of the biggest things i notices was footsteps were way exaggerated on the sound track. It was as if everyone was wearing tap dancing shoes the entire movie. Every step was a huge clunk. Listening on computer Bose deluxe speakers

Exactly. I didn't realize till now that walking on carpeted floors sounded like weathered wood.
