Is it me or did the character of Scott seem to be a little bit into Jim? You hardly saw him and his wife together. I'm not being homophobic, just stating something I noticed.

I think it was just the bad acting and script. Stupid dialog, no plot and your imagination wanting something to "happen"...anything...even some man-on-man love. ha ha jk.

I saw it as a guy that was grateful to have another guy to talk to. He was stuck with two women for too long a time. One nags, the other was mean. Lol

Watching the movie, I also thought the interaction between Scott and Jim was too nice, with the whole sharing liquor and telling stories business.

They writers / directors should have toned this layer down.
