Yes, I know his real name is Scott. Probably so this guy knows that it's his turn to say lines. Talk about wooden. How did this guy even get this part. Not that the other actors were perfect but this guy...completely brought the film down a notch. Very poor acting job.

I thought the same thing. The guy who played Jim did pretty well playing his part, which was the saving grace of the film. You could at times see the actor playing Scott totally waiting for his cue to say his lines, and then when he delivered them, they were totally flat. It's a bummer, to say the least, because it brings an otherwise good movie down another notch.

I wasn't bothered by his performance. I know real guys that talk and act just like that.
shareI noticed him awaiting his cue-type stuff too. I think some of this could have been fixed in post, but generally bad and seemingly uninterested acting on his part. It basically ruined any and all tension this film could have had.
Or wait...I'm talking about the lead actor. Not sure if that is Scott. The main guy who's wife died at the beginning. Some poor acting in scenes that should be terrifying.

I didnt think he was that good either. Everyone else was fine.

sharei know you posted this ages ago, but i'm glad it wasn't just me! he clearly *knew* his lines (hell, he could've been reading them aloud for all he was worth), but had no idea how to *act.* no phrasing, inflection, or delivery of any kind, other than "here's my line. your turn."
i only came here to see if this was some kind of tiny indie film made with friends. just watched it on netflix.
