enjoyed this one...

Good character development and some real creepy scares. I especially likd that Jim was a true blue nice guy, hurting, lonely and insecure, and demonstrates heroic qualities without being a big shot. All his motivations are to help friends. Held my interest all the way through.

Yeah, that actor was really good and brought me into the movie. Even though it was slow, I found myself caring about what happened to him and how the movie was going to end. I like the ending because it fit the tone of the movie.

But this isn't a movie made for people in the mood for a hardcore scary zombie experience this is more laid back and more about the people.

Same here. Enjoyed it enough to buy it.

Gave it a six. It's above average, good, enjoyable flick!

This among my favorite zombie/infected style movies because it turns the genre on it's ear and it was really well done.

Agreed, it wasn't as big and flashy as some of the offerings lately and that's fine. it was a well told entertaining story and while none of it was Shakespearean, the acting wasn't half bad for a B-film either.

I agree, it was a pleasant surprise. Very real and to the point. lots of tension and a realistic time frame. I knew in advance it was low budget, but they did it just right. Low budget is bad when the producers try to do big budget things on a shoestring. This kept to four characters, one location and a few infected and military; the way to go.

Some here hate it. I think they're expecting a Dawn of the Dead type zombie film, when it's really a character drama in a zombie-like situation. The DVD cover and poster do not help by making it look like a type of big zombie action picture.
