What I find irritating is the police going on and on about how if it weren't for the wife, they never would've caught the guy when in fact it was the brave 17 year old who fought off the attack, remembered her attacker's face and reported it to the police that finally cracked the case. The wife was brave for sticking with her husband in order to gather enough evidence to nail him but it was the 17 year old (not the wife) that finally led the police to make an arrest. Or am I missing something? Maybe the wife alerted the police and drew attention to her husband but if wasn't for the 17 year old's efforts, there was really nothing the police could do. So I'd give the credit to the teenager not the wife.

I don't appreciate it when shows try to manipulate the audience to think a certain way for dramatic affect. Other than this epidode, the program is a guilty pleasure.
