I got into this show on whim to watch it on youtube and am glad I did. I'm thirteen episodes in and though the animation might not be the best, it makes up for it with the writing, which has some really good dialog especially from Tunnel Rat. I guess people can't imagine that the show might actually be good because of the nostalgia of the 80's version. Personally I thought it was lame that no one would die in the original. At least they killed off a Joe in this series even if he was annoying.

Edit:
Correction they didn't kill off Ripcord but Baroness did kill that one guy and the snake ate the cobra employee they thought was leaking stuff to the Joe's.

The show is like whine. It got better with age. When i saw the first two episodes i was thinking "YIKES! i dont think i will enjoy this. Then when they got into the Snake eyes two parter is when the show got me hooked and to this day it just got better and better not just the story but the animation too. Each episode shows the animation getting better in quality.

The animation is different but there is no doubt about it this is one of those show that gets better with every episode.

The way I see it the animation was just one of the ways to show that this wasn't the same show that some of us grew up with, so it didn't bother me.

A boat that floats on water can also sink in it.
