I understand what this series is, and how it's a pointless to compare it to the 80s series, or the comic book series, but I can't help it.
I've watched this while waiting for Dan Vs to start, and it's grown on me some, but the Lady Jaye character is such a letdown. Formerly a smart, skilled leader (or second in command)full of personality, now seemingly a teenager.
Such is life.
Her being a teenager would be about right, since she has not yet grown into the powerful and effective leader she eventually will become in the later chronology.

Excellent point, Chuck! However, in the present chronology, it simply makes the character far less interesting. I would think one would have to write for what's airing now, not what they hope will air sometime down the road.
