'Hey kids! We've got this film about a puppy to watch,

There was one before it that we haven't seen yet, but this is set before it so we will watch this first."
After watching this - "Hey kids, let's watch the first film, I bet it's as cute, cuddly and heartwarming as the puppy in that last film we watched."
During watching it - "Daddy, why is Marley sitting under the tree?" "Why is he getting that needle in him?"
Afterwards "Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! The cute puppy is dead! That would never happen to an Air Buddy!"
This will happen everywhere.

Yeah, show your kids the Buddies movies instead. At least they have some form of substance.

The original marley and me is an amazing movie! The plot synopsis originally described the movie as 'the life span of a dog' it was kind of a given that the dog was going to die. And for the record, the original marley and me had more substance than ANY of the air bud movies have put together. The air bud movies are fluff for kids whereas marley and me was geared more towards adults and was VERY VERY VERY well done
