I'm not sure whether the ugly and unreal characterization of Aline would be Kidman's fault or the director's, but I can't believe everyone involved let it pass as is.
I didn't know anything about this movie when I decided to watch it tonight ... and then the scene with Jude Law coming home and his wife .. none other than Ada herself .. Cold Mountain .. and both set in North Carolina .. and that's where I am from .. I enjoyed this movie too .. peace to you .
