How to watch?

Hi Guys.

I've not watched any of the Criminal Minds franchise, but I've just been given this series by a close family friend (ie no idea about most things, but tries their best anyway LOL), so the question is how closely is this tied to the parent show? Can I watch this, then at some point in the future the original, or do I have to watch the main show first to understand Suspect Behavior?

No worries. You can watch this show without seeing the original first. Both shows deal with elite FBI profilers investigating cases. This show simply has a new team doing the investigating. The only character that is in both shows is the computer investigator at headquarters named Garcia but you don't need that characters history to understand her function in this show.

THIS show is not worth the time to watch ;)

And take in to consideration that you'll be left with a cliffhanger and no way to resolve it since the show was pulled. If that doesn't bother you by give the 13 episodes a shot.
