I thought it was a comedy

So, I am browsing Netflix bored out of my mind when all of a sudden in my top 10 pick of movies for me to watch is this show "Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior". Now granted I do have some crime shows in my queue, but the majority are comedies. It is now 2012, and this the first I have ever heard of this show. So I say the hell with it, and decide to watch. My first impression of the show is with a cast like Forest Whitaker and Janeane Garofalo surely its a comedy like a spoof on the original show. I continue watching for another 5 minutes and surprisingly nothing funny is happening. A little girl gets taken in what seemed like the worst fake kidnapping I have ever seen, and at some point Forest Whitakers character cracks a sad excuse for a joke something like "the only good thing about having a case at 2 a.m. is that there is no crowd at the airport". Lame. So, I exit from Netflix and browse over here on IMDb... I read reviews and the description of the show suddenly I realize this is not a comedy it's supposed to be legit, like an actual spin-off. I am still baffled as to why Kirsten Vangsness(Garcia) would even do this show or any of the cast for that matter, well besides Forest I mean he has that thing with his eye I am sure it's hard to cast something like that. At this point I am positive I am just ranting on and on and making no real point, but here is my point: I thought this was a comedy, but even after realizing it was in fact not a comedy..It's still pretty funny, funny that anyone would have thought that this show would be good.

you know what really grinds my gears? sorry excuses for shows

*Note that I do apologize to anyone who wants to be a grammar nazi.. I know I suck. I apologize.

I don't mind your grammer. I mind that you think Forrest Whitaker a 3 time Emmy winner, 1 Oscar win, 5 SAG Awards and a BAFTA win is having a hard time getting roles because of "his eye"! Next time look up the actor before making stupid comments like the one on here. I don't even care how many years ago this was. It's such an ignorant comment it needed to be responded to. I would've watched this show just to see Whitaker because he is an amazing, well established actor who has no "problems getting roles". I'm sure his 15 million net worth and his 55 award wins proves my point.

Next time you accuse someone of using bad grammar, you should double check your own. Grammer? Why would you care one way or another about the OP's Kelsey Grammer? By the way, compound sentences require a comma to separate the two clauses. And a plural subject clause demands a plural verb conjugation (prove, not proves).

p.s. I would not have responded to your reply, except for the atrocious grammar.
