Jim Parsons Unhorsed Baldwin???

That was the biggest surprise for me. I thought once again it would be Baldwin. I guess the voters decided enough is enough. New blood.

I was SO disappointed that Steve Carell didn't win, but at least it wasn't Alec again.

I want my bagel and creamcheese paperweight.

I was so glad Jim Parsons won. I love the Big Bang Theory and he is hilarious in it.

Carell will probably win next year since it's his last season on the show.

I think that they're done with honouring people just because their show is finished (look at Lost, 24, etc). If so, Hugh Laurie would've won this year. Isn't this his last season of House?

No. House M.D. is returning this season.

I'm sure most of the voters know about Carell's departure. Since the slate of new comedies for the 2010–2011 season doesn't seem to have many great standout male lead roles, Carell just needs a good send-off and the Emmy is as good as his.
