so disappointed with it!

I typically love found footage films and I totally loved PARANORMAL ACTIVITY and BLAIR WITCH. I read a number of reviews online that stated this movie was similar in style to them so I grabbed it first chance I got.... and I was let down.

it just didn't have the same emotional appeal and sense of despair that movies like BLAIR WITCH had. and the lead actor overacted way too much, way too campy. I know that was part of his character, but still!!

all in all, it was a good decent movie. but nothing that makes you go "wow thats incredible!". some scenes were really cool - when the mist makes sasha disappear, that was really amazing!

but so much of the movie was just poor CGI and some of the murders, like Houston's, were so over the top they became campy! anyone else feel let down?
